The Whanganui Collegiate School ANZAC Service sees the placing of crosses by students of families related to Old Boys and staff who fell in war. The crosses of all other Old Boys are placed prior to the Service. The ANZAC Lawn becomes home to 343 crosses, each bearing the name of an Old Boy or Member of Staff. A cross is also placed for The Unknown Soldier.
